We waited in their Air Conditioned office with the pretty mountainside view. and he was done in what seemed like less than 1/2 an hour. He even went back and reset the car's oil change meter, so it keeps track of how many miles since your last oil change, when my friend said he had no idea how to do that. Quick, pleasant service with a smile. He said he mostly is open nights and weekends, just for folks like us.

Saturday at 4:45 pm I checked Google for nearby repair shops. Three came up. The first didn't answer the phone - they don't do weekend work apparently. Then I tried Terrace Mt. Auto repair. The owner, Clay, said, "Sure I can fit you in, I'm just finishing up the car I'm working on. You're just three miles away or so." (we had gotten off the highway and stopped at the gas station to find which place was open) I wish I'd asked for directions, as my google maps was having a tough time getting signal and took us to the wrong location (but in the right direction). A local gave s directions turn right at a certain point, and up a hill and a bit of a long and winding road - they were on the left.
